LAKE COUNTY, OH (WOIO) –
Deputies in Lake County are investigating a rash of home burglaries.
Since June, there have been 30-40 burglaries.
The most recent break-in was Wednesday, October 12th. Deputies say the suspect(s) forced his way into a home on Girdled Road in Concord Township between the hours of 7:15AM an 5:15PM.
Once inside, the suspect(s) ransacked the residence and stole jewelry and two laptop computers.
The sheriff’s office is asking residents in the area of Girdled Road between Auburn Road and Hermitage to call if they observed any suspicious vehicles or suspicious person(s) in the area during that time period.
