According to published reports, actress Vivica A. Fox is poised to once again star alongside Will Smith.
The two first encountered each other when Vivica did a guest spot of Will’s ‘Fresh Prince of Bel Air series back in 1991 and again when they starred in the 1996 blockbuster ‘Independence Day.’
Now, some fifteen years, the two are set to reprise their roles of Jasmine Dubrow and Captain Steven Hiller, for the film’s long delayed sequel.
Ronald Emmerich, director of ‘Independence Day,’ said he recently spoke to Will about the prospect of doing a sequel and that they both liked the idea of bringing back the original cast.
And though nothing is set is stone, Emmerich says if everything goes as plans, he expects filming to start in the summer of 2012.
