Kanye West earned a leading seven nominations for the 54th annual Grammy Awards today, followed by Adele, Foo Fighters and Bruno Mars.

West only scored one nomination in the top Grammy categories of song, record and album of the year,earning a nod for song of the year for “All of the Lights,” which also featured Rihanna, Kid Cudi and Fergie. Other songs nominated in the category were “The Cave” by Mumford & Sons, “Grenade” by Bruno Mars, “Holocene” by Bon Iver and “Rolling in the Deep” by Adele.

“The Cave,” “Grenade,” “Holocene” and “Rolling in the Deep” also earned nominations for record of the year, along with “Firework” by Katy Perry.

Adele and Bruno Mars also landed nominations for album of the year for “21” and “Doo-Wops & Hooligans,” respectively. Also up for best album are the Foo Fighters for “Wasting Light,” Lady Gaga for “Born This Way” and Rihanna for “Loud.”

The Band Perry, Bon Iver, J. Cole, Nicki Minaj and Skrillex were nominated for best new artist.

The nominations were announced during a star-studded concert at the Nokia Theatre. The number of Grammy categories was cut from 109 last year to 78 this year, as The Recording Academy looks to streamline the awards show.

Among the performers during the nominations concert were Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Jason Aldean, Lupe Fiasco, Sugarland, The Band Perry, Common, Grandmaster Flash and Ludacris.

The Grammy Awards will be presented Feb. 12 at Staples Center.
