R.Kelly is ready to add to his famous hip-hopera, as he plans to release 32 more chapters to the “Trapped in the Closet” saga.
The only thing that is holding him back from making the memorable music videos is the money that he will need to make his visions successful. R.Kelly told TMZ, “I’ve always wanted to be a movie director.”
R.Kelly was not only able to become a movie director during the “Closet” project, but he was also responsible for a marriage. TMZ reports that the “Trapped in the Closet” actors, Rolando Boyce and LeShay Tomlinson actually got married after filming the R.Kelly videos. They starred as Rufus and Cathy, the cheating couple in Chapters 1-22.
With the anticipation of R.Kelly’s return to the scene, fans didn’t have to wait too long as he appeared on Fox’s hit show “The X Factor” last night. Looking like he added just a few pounds, R.Kelly joined the stage with the contestant powerhouse Melanie Amaro to sing his classic, “I Believe I Can I Fly.” Singing this song as a duo for the first time, the two received standing ovations from judges, L.A. Reid, Nicole Scherzinger, Paula Abdul, Simon Cowell and fans.
Maybe, this appearance is what R. Kelly needed to put some money in his pocket to start the continuation of his hip-hopera!
