Last week several customers walked into Kmart in Anderson Township, Ohio with the intention of canceling the layaway items they could no longer afford, until something special happened. A woman simply known as “Marilyn” walked up to the counter and proceeded to pay off the balances of several customer’s layaway accounts! This is what the holiday season is all about! One of the customer’s helped had this to say courtesy of FOX19:
“I can’t thank her enough,” said Ashley Evans. “She just totally made my two kids Christmas. We were debating on telling my 7 and 8-year-old that it was going to be a tough Christmas, but we can definitely do it now. They got what they wanted and just because of her. She’s my Christmas miracle.”
Apparently this is not the only stop that some form of secret Santa has made, stores in Joplin, Mo., and Chicago have also seen some layaway accounts paid off. For an uplifting story check out the link with video here
