WADSWORTH, Ohio – Police in Wadsworth need your help identifying this woman, who they said picked up an envelope full of cash that was dropped by another customer and walked away.

Authorities said the incident happened on Dec. 2 during the evening hours. They said a customer dropped the cash-filled envelope at the High Street gas station while at the customer counter. As that person walked away, surveillance video showed a woman picking up the envelope from the floor, according to police.

Officers are hoping someone will recognize the woman or her clothing, describing her as a “person of interest.”

It’s unclear how much money was inside the envelope.

Anyone with tips on who the woman pictures is can call Wadsworth police at (330) 335-2769 or (330) 334-1511.
