MENTOR, Ohio – Great Lakes Mall will welcome a trio of new retailers: two new stores and a restaurant this year.

H&M, a Swedish retail-clothing company, known for its fast-fashion clothing offerings for women, men, teens and children, will open a 17,000 square foot location in the fall.

Teavana, a specialty retailer offering more than 100 varieties of premium loose-leaf teas, authentic artisanal teawares and other tea-related merchandise, will open a 1,281 square foot location inside the mall in May.

Chop It Salad Co., a locally-owned fast-casual restaurant, will soon be opening at the food court in Great Lakes Mall.

“We’re pleased to welcome these new additions and to see updates to several of our long-time retailers,” said Renee Lanzara, director of mall marketing and business development at the mall, in a news release. “We know these changes are a direct result of the major renovation we completed last year. This is only the beginning of ‘phase two’ of the project, which includes making room for more new tenants.”

Meanwhile, Bath & Body Works, The Limited, and Express will be relocating within the mall to newly renovated spaces within the next year to 18 months.

Renovations inside Great Lakes Mall began in 2011 and included new indoor and outdoor features, such as additional seating, a remodeled food court, updated restrooms, redesigned mall entrances, landscaping, flooring and lighting.

“Since our renovation, we continue to see new retailers wanting to be a part of the special shopping experience we offer here,” said Lanzara. “We look forward to announcing more new additions in the near future.”
