CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) –

Cleveland police looking for the suspect who fought with a priest and drove his car into two undercover cops.

It happened Monday afternoon at The Annunciation of Greek Orthodox Church on West 14th Street.

The priest tells officers the man had come to the church to discuss doing some work on the parish.The priest said they already paid the man $27,000 last October, and the work has not yet been started. The priest told the suspect he was going to call police.

The suspect headbutted the priest and punched him in the head.

The suspect then ran out of the church and jumped into his car. Two undercover officers had just arrived on scene. They showed their badges and weapons, and ordered the suspect out of the car. He refused, put the car in drive and took off. He struck both officers while fleeing the scene.

The officers were treated and released at Metro.

The priest did not seek medical treatment for his injuries.
