CLEVELAND – According to the Cleveland Fire Department, five kids were taken to the hospital after a late night fire in Cleveland. It happened shortly after 10:30 p.m. Monday night in the 6000 block of Dunham Street near 67th Street.

The Cleveland Fire Department said one of the kids is in stable condition this morning.

We don’t know the condition of the other kids.

Fire officials said a girl, 7, was taken to Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital and a boy, 2,  was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center. No word on what injures they had. Three other kids were taken to Metro for smoke inhalation.

Officials said they believe the children were home alone at the time of the fire.

Fire investigators are working to determine the cause of the blaze.
