A woman of many hats and talents, Kimora Lee Simmons has a few business tricks up her sleeve. Her career success includes modeling, producing, the clothing line Baby Phat and now she looks to add another credit to her long list of accolades: a “high performance” skin care line. Called Shinto Clinical, the entrepreneur and mother of three said she developed the line to keep her skin smooth, soft and young as she grows older, and hopes to provide its benefits to women like her.

“As a little girl, I watched in wonder as my mother and grandmother stood at the mirror paying meticulous attention to their skin,” she said in the statement. Shinto Clinical is a direct reflection of the regimen used and passed down for generations in her family. It combines a mix of ancient Asian ingredients formed by her grandmother’s strict and secret combination for soft skin with some of the latest in Western bioactive technology.

The line was developed in conjunction with Makari de Suisse and is backed by New York dermatologist Dr. Eric Schweiger. It is uniquely designed to provide anti-aging benefits and restore skin’s luminosity. One of its key ingredients is the OMEGAPEARL-18®, which is a special anti-aging formula derived from Pearl Powder, Wakame Kelp, and Beta-Glucan Mushman. It’s clinically proven to address skin inflammation. Lee Simmons’ line also combines several other anti-oxidant/anti-inflammatory ingredients.

“As a woman, I’m proud to take those traditions and combine them with clinically proven science to create an ultra luxurious skincare line for all women,” Lee Simmons said. “I am humbled to be able to bring this hybrid of ancient and modern skincare to women of all complexions and cultures.”

Currently Shinto Clincal can be found in Nordstrom stores across the US.
