*A show-stealing role in the current number one film at the box office, a pivotal turn in a new romantic comedy (opening this weekend) and small screen time on TV’s “Modern Family.” It’s a safe bet to say that it’s good to be Kevin Hart.

And while resting easy is an option, the Philadelphia native is motivated to keep his streak of success going.

“It’s great. I can’t complain right now. It’s a blessing’. It’s nothing but positive,” Hart expressed to EUR’s Lee Bailey. “It basically feels like all my hard work is paying off and I put myself in a position, you know, where I feel like I’m on a grind. I’m gonna focus. I’m gonna do what I can to get to a point of success. To see it actually panning out is addicting. So it just makes me want to work that much harder.”

Hart’s current mind state is the end result of working to get on the public’s radar since cutting his teeth in stand-up comedy in Philadelphia in 1997. That pre-fame period provided a solid foundation for the funnyman to use for future acting endeavors.

“I really have to give that the credit, “ Hart explained, adding that stand-up allowed him to morph in to whoever and whatever he needed to become on stage. “You’re doing characters. You’re in front of an audience. You’re constantly trying to paint a picture for people to see and that on-the-spot improvisation and quick thinking and wit … it comes in handy when you’re doing movies. Reason being is because you’re constantly changing and adapting.”
