D’Angelo is ready for his big U.S. comeback.  After performing overseas earlier this year, the crooner is ready for his American fans as he’s set to open this July’s Essence Music Festival

 D’Angelo has been working on his come back for years.  And it’s finally imminent.  The “How Does It Feel” crooner has just been named as an act on the opening night at Essence Music Festvial in New Orleans.   July 6th, D’Angelo will take the stage in addition to other weekend acts like Trey Songz, Mary J. Blige, Aretha Franklin, Fantasia, Keyshia Cole & more.
