COVENTRY TOWNSHIP, Ohio – Coventry High School seniors had their parking lot party crashed. Literally.

Members of the senior class at the Summit County high school got together in the high school parking lot Thursday night. This year, it was not chaperoned, a sheriff’s deputy said.

While the students were gathered in the parking lot, neighbors came to join the party. A Summit County Sheriff’s deputy said one of the neighbors started doing doughnuts in the parking lot and grazed a light pole.

The high school seniors called 911 when a bunch of shell casing fell out of the neighbor’s truck. The students thought there was a gun, but no weapon was ever seen, a deputy said.

The Summit County Sheriff’s Office said none of the students were injured and no one was arrested.
