Source: Erykah Badu has never been afraid to bare all and be nude in front of the camera, and with the recent release of the “Western Esotericism” video by The Flaming Lips, she proved to us that nothing has changed. Many are not happy about Badu’s nude role but on the other hand I am sure that there are those who did enjoy it. In the music video, Badu is not clothed, but I believe that it is a stretch to say that she was completely naked. For most of the video she was in substances such as blood and glitter, or having head shots taken. The real nude shot came from those few seconds that she was sitting in an empty tub. Erykah Badu has the ability to show off her body and does not mind doing so, and it is her choice isn’t it? So let her live.
