GARFIELD HEIGHTS, OH (WOIO) –
One person has been arrested from an overnight standoff in Garfield Heights.
The SWAT team was called to the apparent shooting and standoff on Grace Avenue near East 104th Street overnight.
Police tell 19 Action News they received a call for someone breaking into a home. During the 9-1-1 call, the dispatcher heard a single gunshot.
Officers arrived on scene and also heard gunshots.
Just before 9 a.m., SWAT and Garfield Heights Police stormed the home and arrested one male outside of the home.
All four residents inside, along with their dog escaped unharmed.
