NOVELTY, OH (WOIO) –

A 2-year-old blind dog rescued from severe neglect is looking for his forever home.

Isaac was among 15 dogs that were seized from severe neglect on May 4 in Geauga County. The dogs were found living in filthy conditions without sunlight or the chance to go outside.

The elderly owners were cooperative and surrendered the dogs to Rescue Village’s Humane Officer and have formally agreed to never own animals in the future.

According to Rescue Village, Isaac is an old soul with a young heart. He seems excited to be around other dogs, tries to play with them and seeks guidance from them. He is a little hesitant when he meets new people, but quickly warms up once he recognizes your voice.

For more information about Isaac, please contact Rescue Village at 440.338.4819 ext. 11, or contact Dog Behavior Coordinator Barnee Woolf at 440.338.4819 ext. 43.
