Former Giants star Tiki Barber has married his mistress, just 8 days after divorcing his wife who he allegedly left for his mistress while she was 8 months pregnant.
According to reports, Tiki exchanged vows with 24 year old Traci Lynn Johnson early this week at the City Marriage Bureau in Manhattan. Yesterday, he took to his twitter page to announce his marriage while his new wife tweeted photos of the wedding rings with the caption, ‘We’re Married’. Tiki wrote:
“Many thanks to the NYC Clerk’s office, especially James Mitchell who married me to my love Traci Lynn Johnson! Excited for the next chapters . .
Evidently, he’s not only celebrating his new marriage, but also his divorce which was finalized last week. Two years ago, Tiki left his college sweetheart and wife of 11 years, Genny, for Traci Lynn who was working as an intern at NBC. At the time, his wife was 8 months pregnant with twins and although Tiki was spotted with Traci as early as five months prior while Genny was 3 months pregnant, the couple are adamant that they began dating after Tiki separated from Genny. In 2010, Traci Lynn told Entertainment Tonight:
Tiki and I were romantically involved when he was separated, and plenty of people who are separated have boyfriends and girlfriends.”
Tiki added:
We were only friends when I was still married, I was separated, out of my house so it wasn’t until then that we took things to the next level.
