MAPLE HEIGHTS, Ohio – Maple Heights police and fire crews are at the scene of a house explosion on Dunham Road.

It’s not known if there are any injuries at this time.

Crews said it happened in the 6100 block of Dunham Road.

As of 1 p.m., Dunham Road was shut down between Rockside Road and Turney Road.

Employees at Dunham Beverage reported hearing the explosion and seeing flames. Michael, who lives nearby, commented on our Facebook page that the explosion “shook my whole house.”

The Cuyahoga County Auditor’s website lists Donald and Mary Cary as the homeowners. It’s unclear if they were home at the time of the explosion.

Seven neighboring fire departments helped Maple Heights put the flames out.
