Newly divorced Chad Johnson was spotted getting back to smiling as he grabbed lunch with his good friend, AJ Johnson.
Former NFLer and former quickie husband of Evelyn Lozada was spotted in Sunset Plaza in West Hollywood yesterday grabbing grub with his homegirl AJ Johnson. We doubt it’s anything romantic like some sites are reporting, especially because the two have Tweeted pics with each other for a while essentially referring to each other as “brother and sister.”
And after Chad’s new plea of No Contest to those domestic violence assault charges after his situation with Ev, looks like AJ is there to cheer him up.
The Daily Mail reported on where Chad’s case currently stands:
He avoided jail after striking a plea deal with prosecutors, and the judge ordered Chad to have no direct or indirect contact with his ex-wife, including ‘no email, Twitter, or text.’
Evelyn was not in court, but the state’s attorney told the judge: ‘She did not wish that he be incarcerated and she was fully aware of the terms of the plea and in agreement with them.’
Chad will still have to pay restitution but the sum has yet to be decided as lawyers are ‘waiting on one additional medical bill.’
