Jason Derulo could be getting ready to pop the question to Jordin Sparks.
The Sparkle star Jordin revealed to Us Weekly that she and Jason aren’t shying away from the idea of getting married.
“It’s not a conversation that we’re scared about,” Jordin explained. “Before, we both went through tragedies this year—he broke his neck and then [Sparkle co-star] Whitney [Houston] passed—so before it might have been a little too crazy.”
Jason said that Jordin really handled his injury and recovery very well, and she was there to help him get better. It showed him how much she cares about him.
“You really see the people you love and you go, ‘I don’t want to lose you,’” said Jordin. “So, it’s a conversation we have, but we’re not in a rush.”
She doesn’t want to be kept waiting for too long because she’d really like him to propose. “I hope he does!” Jordin exclaimed. “It’s not happening yet, but I hope so!”
