WTF! Some Say Alicia Keys “Disrespectful” During Super Bowl Performance?!

OK I think people just have to have something to say because it didn’t even cross my mind that Alicia Keys was sitting down during her performance of the National Anthem during the Super Bowl. She was seated at her piano as she has done many times before. I know everyone does stand but I think this is reaching. However, some people I guess found it disrespectful for her to not be standing.

The Huffington Post reported that a morning show producer stated:

“It was disrespectful. They had enough time and manpower to think of this before the performance. They could have had her stand at her piano keyboard and sing. To me and a lot of my friends, she sounded great but the visual was wrong.”
