Jackee Harry has joined the “Girl Meets World” cast. Disney confirmed to The Huffington Post that the “Sister, Sister” and “227” veteran filmed a role in the pilot. No other details about her role have been revealed.
“Girl Meets World” checks back in with Cory (Ben Savage) and Topanga (Danielle Fishel) from the ABC series “Boy Meets World.” The couple now has teen children of their own. In addition to Savage and Fishel, “Boy Meets World” veteran William Daniels will also appear in the pilot. The teen cast includes Rowan Blanchard, Sabrina Carpenter and Teo Halm.
Disney has yet to order the pilot to series.
Harry won an Emmy for her work on “227.” Her other TV credits include “Everybody Hates Chris,” “Let’s Stay Together” and the new series “The First Family,” which reunites Harry with her “227” co-star Marla Gibbs.
