It’s official, Cory Matthews and Topanga Lawrence are back.

The original “Boy Meets World” show ran from 1993-2000 and featured Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel, as Cory and Topanga, arguably one of the most loved couples in television history. “Girl Meets World,” sees the two stars reprising their roles as parents to 7th grader, Riley Matthews (Rowan Blanchard). Like its predecessor, “Girl Meets World” follows the growing pains of Riley, as she navigates her way through tweenhood with her best friend Maya (Sabrina Carpenter).

“Girl Meets World” will be set in New York City with Savage playing a teacher at Riley’s school and Lawrence as the owner of a trendy afterschool hangout, who that specializes in making pudding.

So what can we expect from version 2.0? Jacobs promises “Girl Meets World” will follow the same formula of the original.

“‘Girl Meets World’ is a new show for a new generation that will be rooted in the same kind of honest, comedic storytelling about coming of age and the importance of family and friendship that made ‘Boy Meets World’ so popular,” he said.

We just have one question, where is Mr. Feeney?!
