CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) –
The West 76th Street tunnel officially opens to the public on Tuesday evening.
The tunnel project was finished with funds through the State of Ohio, City of Cleveland and Cuyahoga Arts and Culture.
The newly-renovated West 76th Street pedestrian tunnel will once again make a path between the Detroit Shoreway area (Battery Park) and Edgewater Park.
City crews had to do some unexpected clean-up after vandals spraypainted inside the tunnel.
