SOLON — Solon police said they arrested a 20-year-old man June 30 for criminal trespass after he was found at a home when the homeowners were away.

Just after midnight, an officer watching a Liberty Road home while the family was on vacation heard a noise in the rear of the home.

The officer then saw a barefooted man come around the side of the home. He claimed to be the homeowner’s son but that was not true.

The sun porch had been left unlocked by the homeowner and that’s where the officer found a cell phone with a “pornographic movie on pause, some crumpled tissues, a pack of cigarettes, and a pair of tennis shoes,” the police report read.

The officer arrested Benjamin Green, who has no known address, on the felony charge.
