Groundbreaking today for the new John Marshall High School in Cleveland.

The school is located at 3952 West 140th Street.

The project will cost $41.7 million.

The new 207,182-square-foot high school will have a capacity of 1,260 students.

Not everyone is happy about the new construction.  Union workers were on hand, protesting the low construction wages.

Meanwhile, construction will soon start on two more Cleveland high schools, Max S. Hayes Vocational High School and the Cleveland School of the Arts.

Officials hope the new buildings are ready for the 2015-16 school year.

Students have been moved to other buildings until the new ones are done.
