CLEVELAND – A woman who told a gas station clerk on Cleveland’s east side Wednesday morning that she had been kidnapped has been found safe and a man is in custody.

Prescious Starr Alison Johnson, 27, was located at East 185th Street and Euclid Avenue, officers said. A man was also arrested at the scene for kidnapping, according to police.

Johnson made a purchase and told the clerk at the Marathon gas station at East 55th Street and Woodland Avenue that she had been abducted at 5:45 a.m.

She then left the store and got into the front passenger seat of a red Saturn Vue SUV with a license plate EJD3640, according to police.

Johnson was reported to be wearing a pink hooded sweatshirt and light blue jeans at the time of the incident. The gas station clerk said Johnson also appeared to have an injury to her right eye.
