CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) –
A Cleveland mother was sentenced to a minimum 30-years to life in prison for the murder of her little boy.
Camilia Terry was found guilty last month of killing three-year-old Emilliano Terry.
Terry did speak at her sentencing, and said she loves her children. She also told the court that she is not an evil person.
“I’m not a selfish person, I’m not an evil person, I’m not a killer,” Terry insisted. “I’m not any of those things that the state or anybody tries to make me out to be just because they don’t understand or they don’t know the truth, they make their own truth.”
