ROCKY RIVER, OH (WOIO) –
The Lutheran West High School girl’s basketball head coach Josh Campbell donated a kidney earlier this week to Lutheran West girl’s soccer head coach Jeff Bancroft.
Bancroft called the school Thursday morning with the news that the transplanted kidney has started to work.
He will be in the hospital until his creatinine level comes down and the kidney filters out the extra fluid he’s gained.
