CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) –

Are you ready for a Times Square style countdown to 2014 on Cleveland’s Public Square?

New Year of the Millennium was the last time the city hosted a New Year’s event like this. Fast forward 14 years, and Cleveland Rocks New Year’s Eve, put on by the Ohio Homecoming Group is hoping to draw a crowd of as many as 20,000 people downtown.

The dynamic, festival-like event is free and will include food trucks, a beer garden, live ice sculpting and fireworks. The party starts at 8 p.m.!
