TMZ reports that former NFL superstar Darren Sharper a 5-time Pro Bowler and Super Bowl champ has been arrested in L.A. on suspicion of rape. Law enforcement sources say he was arrested on Friday and he’s allegedly been linked to 2 separate sexual assaults that occurred on two different dates with two different victims. One is alleged to have occurred in October of 2013 and the other in January 2014.
Sharper was booked at an L.A. jail and has been released on $200k bail.
Darren who played for the Packers, Vikings and Saints is currently an analyst for the NFL Network. However the NFL Network has announced that Darren has been ”suspended without pay until further notice.” Wow!
