*Jimmy Fallon announced that Will Smith and U2 will be his first guests when he takes over NBC’s “Tonight” show next month.

Jay Leno will wrap his two-decade run at the helm on Feb. 6 with Billy Crystal and Garth Brooks as guests. Fallon takes the baton on Feb. 17, debuting a week of shows at midnight following the network’s coverage of the Winter Olympics.

Fallon moves into his regular time slot a week later, followed by fellow “Saturday Night Live” alum Seth Meyers taking Fallon’s old gig as host of “Late Night.” Meyers will have his former “Weekend Update” co-anchor Amy Poehler as his first guest.

Below, Fallon gives us the early scoop on how far he’s come, and how his “Tonight’ show will look.
