As co-anchor of Good Morning Cleveland on NewsChannel 5, Mike Dunston loves to bring viewers their first news of the day. A veteran of five television markets, this experienced journalist is equally adept at delivering the news from behind the anchor desk, or out in the field. Dunston recently won a Regional Emmy for Anchoring Best Newscast for 5 AM.
He founded, and currently hosts, a monthly adoption segment called, “A Child is Waiting.”
Since moving to e Northeast Ohio in 2011, Dunston has fallen in love with the area, the seasons, and the down to earth people. On weekends, he enjoys working out, exploring new places, volunteering, and singing karaoke. He can also name all the U.S. Presidents in order!
