CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) –
The Boys and Girls Clubs of Cleveland 8th Annual Youth of the Year and Recognition Breakfast was held on Friday morning.
The Boys and Girls Clubs offer a safe place to come in from the cold. Celebrating 60 years in Cleveland, the clubs also provide education and tutoring in addition to recreational games.
Friday, 19 Action News Anchors Romona Robinson and George Smith were on hand to help recognize six outstanding club members, but only one could be awarded the “2014 Youth of the Year.”
That honor went to 17 year-old Jasmyne Johnson, an 8 year member of the Mt. Pleasant Club.
