CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) –
19 Action News Reporter Ed Gallek has uncovered the fact that many Cleveland top safety administrators have retired, then a short time later come out of retirement in order to collect their pensions and huge salaries simultaneously.
Many residents are upset and want the practice stopped in Cleveland.
The latest person involved is Deputy Cleveland Police Chief Tim Hennessy.
Hennessy retired then was immediately rehired to work at City Hall to be an Assistant Safety Director.
