DOWNTOWN CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) –

Positively Cleveland, the convention and visitors bureau for Cleveland, announced a new destination brand Wednesday, presented new plans for its destination development initiatives, unveiled a local social media movement and highlighted a series of organizational accomplishments.

Mayor Frank G. Jackson and Positively Cleveland President & CEO David Gilbert were among those on hand.

“Ultimately the new brand is about changing the conversation about Cleveland. Not some tag line it’s about amplifying what we have,” said David Gilbert.  “City our size, we truly do have world class assets — Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Cleveland Museum of Art, Severence Hall…”
