PARMA, OH (WOIO) –

Parma City Schools is investigating the possibility that teachers, staff and students were exposed to measles starting April 28 through May 2 at Parma Senior High School and Thoreau Park Elementary.

A confirmation of a measles diagnosis will not be available until early next week.

The district is now taking extra precautions to thoroughly clean all facilities to help prevent the spread of this condition if measles is confirmed. The district is also urging parents to keep their kids home from school if they show any signs or symptoms of measles.
