MEDINA TWP., Ohio – Flood waters swelled so quickly in Medina Township first responders had to rescue multiple people trapped in their homes.

That includes a 97-year-old woman who was rescued from her home on Granger Road. All told, three people were helped by multiple fire departments who were assisting Medina Township.

At Route 3 and Highway 71, a Channel 8 meteorologist had to be pulled from his car after unknowingly driving into flood waters.
