Basketball is in full swing but this weekend its all about the Billboard Music Awards. Ludacris hosts the annual music extravaganza which airs live on ABC at 8 p.m. from the MGM Grand.

John Legend and Jennifer Lopez are among the performer and reports say that performer Robin Thicke will be debuting a song about his estranged wife, Paula Patton, in a renewed bid to get her back.

Hmmm, we don’t know for sure, but it may pay to watch if you’re curious about those things.

No word on whether Beyonce or Jay will show up this year, as they’re prepping for their ‘On The Run’ tour that starts in Miami and probably still reeling from the elevator footage “released” earlier this week. Hopefully everyone else can get past it as they have after releasing a joint statement with Solange.

Here’s what else is happening around the country this weekend. However you spend it, keep it safe.
