Can his legion of female fans stomach Idris Elba as the bad guy? We’ll see come September when Elba will play a psychopathic narcissist in a new movie No Good Deed with Taraji P. Henson.
In the film, Elba is an escaped convict with some serious issues with women, who crashes his getaway car near Henson’s characters house.
Unfortunately for Henson, when she opens her door to a stranger supposedly seeking help, she’s opening herself and her daughter up to a violent killer.
Super producer Will Packer of Takers and Think Like A Man fame is producing, and Luther’s (Elba’s award-winning BBC detective series) Sam Miller wrote the film.
Will you be checking it out, or do you cringe thinking of Elba as the bad guy? Is his sexiness just too hard to get over to see him in a bad light?
