LORAIN, OH (WOIO) –
A standoff with Lorain County Sheriff’s Office and Lorain police ended with one man dead in the early morning hours Monday.
Torrey T. Hill had knocked on the door of a female who had an active Temporary Protection Order against him. When she didn’t respond he reportedly broke her car window and fled.
Deputies learned Hill had outstanding warrants. Police and deputies responded to his home in an attempt to arrest him. He would not surrender.
Several persons in the home reported Hill wasn’t allowing them to leave, would not be taken alive, and was in possession of a firearm.
