CLEVELAND – The Cleveland Metropolitan School District could see the construction of 19 new schools in the years ahead, if the school board approves a proposed facilities plan.

Board members will review the plan at a special meeting Monday evening and they could adopt it by resolution as early as Tuesday.

The goal is to continue to modernize the school district while addressing declining enrollment.
