PENINSULA, Ohio – The portion of the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad that has been closed since mid-May after storms caused flooding on the tracks is set to re-open Wednesday, July 2.
Service will resume between Rockside Station in Independence and Northside Akron Station in Akron, a railroad spokesperson said.
Tickets will be offered at half price for passengers boarding at the Northside Akron Station for the holiday weekend, July 2 to 6.
