CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH (WOIO) –
On July 4th, the residents of Somerton Road in Cleveland Heights will be celebrating 50 years of community block parties highlighted by a 1 p.m. parade from Wilton to Superior on Somerton Road.
The parade features children, musicians, friends and guests as well as residents coming together for community.
The long tradition brings together the close-knit neighborhood which has been devastated by the recent loss of bar and restaurant owner, Jim Brennan.
Brennan was shot and killed at his business, Brennan Colony, on Monday, June 30.
