Ma’lik Richmond has to continue to register as a sex offender, while the Ohio High School Athletic Association says it’s up to the school on whether or not he can stay on the team.

 

(WTOV/CNN) – One of two high school football players convicted in an Ohio rape case is reportedly back on the field.

Ma’lik Richmond, now 18, appears on the roster for Steubenville High School’s Big Red football team.

According to KDKA-TV, he was released from a juvenile detention center in January after serving 10 months of his one-year sentence.
