PARMA — Police have arrested a former employee of Cuyahoga Community College in connection with numerous thefts of computer and computer hardware belonging to the college.

He has been identified as Gregory Wallace, 41, of Cleveland. Wallace appeared in Parma Municipal Court Thursday morning and was arraigned on a single count of felony theft with multiple other criminal charges expected later after this case is presented to a Cuyahoga County Grand Jury.

Wallace was employed by Tri-C and worked in the Information Technology Department, according to police.

Over the past year, Wallace is said to have removed over a dozen, brand new i-Mac Computers, several HP Computers, a Smart board and other instructional technology hardware from the IT Department.
