Ohio’s Unemployment Rate Increases

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) –
Ohio’s unemployment rate was 5.7 percent in July 2014, up from 5.5 percent in June 2014.
Ohio’s nonfarm wage and salary employment decreased 12,400 over the month, from a revised 5,301,300 in June to 5,288,900 in July.
The number of workers unemployed in Ohio in July was 323,000, up 7,000 from 316,000 in June.
