CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) –

To assist the task force investigating the “Early Morning Rapist” believed responsible for at least two sexual assaults in Cleveland and Lakewood, the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office is adding money to the Crime Stoppers reward fund for these cases.

The contribution from the Prosecutor’s Office means that up to $10,000 will be available through Crime Stoppers for information that leads to an arrest or indictment.

The Prosecutor’s Office is using money obtained through forfeitures in criminal cases to offer this reward.

A woman was attacked and raped in Lakewood around 4:30 a.m. on August 30. A similar sexual assault took place in Cleveland around 5:25 a.m. on September 2.
