GARFIELD HTS., Ohio – A Cleveland elementary school teacher may have had contact with the Ebola patient, according to the Cleveland Metro School District.

The district says it learned late Wednesday evening of the potential contact the teacher who works at Cranwood Elementary School may have had.

The City Health Department said students, families and staff are not at risk, according to the district.

The district has notified families and staff about the incident.

Overnight, the district says Cranwood Elementary School was thoroughly cleaned with a bleach-based cleaning solution according to the guidelines provided by the CDC.
