CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) – Armond Budish, newly elected Cuyahoga County Executive, held a news conference Wednesday at the Cuyahoga County Administrative Headquarters to discuss his plan of action once in office.
During his campaign he focused on jobs.
“We have thousands of jobs right now in Cuyahoga County that are open and not filled. That’s shameful in a county with high unemployment,” Budish said. “I look forward to working with Jack Schron in the near future. We are looking for people who are ethical and highly qualified to fill any positions that need to be filled.”
The Democrat beat his opponent Jack Schron (R) by nearly 60,000 votes in Tuesday’s general election. Budish will replace current Cuyahoga County Executive Ed Fitzgerald.
